The quick instructions are:
The KeySpyer is activated by holding down the 3 keys: vls or kbs all at the same time for 10 seconds. The keyboard will stop responding and mount itself as a removable hard drive. Then use Windows Explorer to look for the new hard drive that is mounted after 10 seconds. The log file is there to open in a text editor. Save the log to your hard drive, then unplug the KeySpyer and plug it back in to regain keyboard operation and continue recording keystrokes.
To clear the memory, delete the log file when the KeySpyer is mounted as a flash drive.
The default layout is the standard US keyboard. To add a national layout (like Spanish or German) simply place the appropriate layout file named LAYOUT.TXT in the drive root directory while the KeySpyer is mounted as a flash drive. Layouts may be downloaded here:
